MIAMI (GaeaTimes.com)- On Wednesday morning Hurricane Danielle intensified and continued to move across the Atlantic Ocean. The National Hurricane Center mentioned that the maximum sustained winds of Hurricane Danielle grew from 75 miles per hour on late Tuesday night to 85 mile per hour early on Wednesday morning. Still far away from the coastal area, Hurricane Danielle at present is moving on a path 795 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands. The National Hurricane Center held that the Hurricane is headed west-northwest at a speed of about 18 miles per hour.

On Tuesday the maximum sustained winds of Hurricane Danielle showed fluctuations. Although at Tuesday morning it passed on to a status of Category 2 Hurricane and meteorologists feared that it might escalate to destructive Category 3, Hurricane Danielle weakened temporarily to tropical storm status during the afternoon. However, late on Tuesday night, Hurricane Danielle once again regained its speed which mounted to 85 miles per hour on Wednesday.

On its daily bulletin, the National Hurricane Center discussed the path of Hurricane Danielle. It mentioned that the hurricane might take a turn towards “northwest with a decrease in forward speed” in the following couple of days. It also held that Hurricane Danielle will most likely gain strength in the next two days. The meteorological projection shows the hurricane in Atlantic Ocean and reaching Bermuda by Monday. Apart from Hurricane Danielle, another storm that is gaining strength is the Pacific Tropical Storm Frank which has recorded a maximum sustained wind near 65 mph. However, the storm is reportedly moving away from Mexico. No Coastal warning has been issued as of yet.
