After Tornado Warnings, City of New York Gets Torn Apart by a Tornado

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — A fast moving tornado tore apart the city of New York just a few minutes ago. A series of Tornado warnings were already on the rise at Brooklyn, Staten Island and Queens, after the heavy rains and hail storms on Thursday. It was approximately 5:20 p.m. when winds rushing with speeds of more than 100 mph slammed the city of New York.

The wind speeds at Staten Island were about 70 mph. When it reached Great Neck, the wind speeds rose to about 100 mph. Trees were uprooted all around Brooklyn. Although, reports of injuries have not yet been heard of, but damage to property has been caused for sure.

The Tornado warnings had been given for Brooklyn at 5:24 p.m. and for Queens at 5:36 p.m.
