Mammoth Mountain Experiences 9 feet Snowfall, Early Avalanche Warning Issued by the Authorities

CALIFORNIA (GaeaTimes.com) — Since Friday, Mammoth mountain, a popular ski resort in California, has received about 9 feet of snow. This abnormal snowfall might result into an avalanche at any point of time.

According to meteorologists, snow had piled up at Mammoth Mountain by Sunday and latest reports say that the snow is still coming down. The 8000 feet long Mammoth mountain has reached the height of 11,000 feet after the new snowfall.

This has forced the authorities to issue avalanche warning throughout the surrounding areas.
