NYC Tornado Disrupts City Life, Claims life of One

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — Last Thursday evening New York City faced a powerful tornado which caused several damage across the city. It even claimed the life of one person while injuring several others.
According to reports, the storm was a tornado with a funnel cloud. Although the National Weather Service had issued a Tornado warning on Thursday afternoon, but has not yet determined whether a tornado was actually formed.
Many trees were uprooted or blown over throughout the city. Several vehicles were upturned and debris were found to be scattered all over the city. The one fatality that took place is believed to have been caused when a vehicle was overturned by the winds and landed on a person. The storm was also responsible for severe transportation issues in the city. In fact the Long Island Railroad suspended all services to the west of Jamica and subway services was disrupted significantly.
