DC airport reopens after flooding closed terminal
WASHINGTON — Officials at Reagan National Airport have reopened a terminal that was closed after a broken pipe caused flooding.
A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said the flooding Saturday was ankle deep in the terminal C baggage claim area. Spokeswoman Tara Hamilton says terminal C was open again Sunday morning.
However, she says all US Airways flights before 10 a.m. have been canceled. Passengers on planes later in the day should confirm the flight is on schedule before coming to the airport.
