GULF OF MEXICO (GaeaTimes.com)- In a video released by BP on Thursday it has come to light that not only is oil still spilling from the oil well near the Gulf of Mexico but the rate at which it is spilling is also very high. However the only reassuring fact in the statement which was made after the live video was shown is that the government is trying its best to collect information on the total amount of oil and natural gas coming out of the burst well and also trying to determine the impact of the accident on the environment. The BP oil spill live feed reported that it has been collecting 5000 barrels of oil everyday from the accident site and 15 million cubic feet of natural gas has also been obtained.

The April 20th incident had left the world stunned with many scientists claiming that this is probably the worst accident in recent times. The oil has already killed 11 workers and has wiped out the coastal wetlands of Louisiana. It is now being reported that the Florida Keys is also in danger as the well has not stopped leaking ever since the accident took place a month back. The government had been highly criticized for not taking the proper steps during the early stages of the disaster and it is now being said that it was because of this criticism that the BP oil spill live feed has been shown to the common man.

Government officials are now trying to bring out a proper estimate on the total amount which will be spent on cleaning up the place. Since the BP oil spill live feed has already been released, it is high time that the government gives more time on the issue.
