Curfew, Riots In Hyderabad: News

HYDERABAD, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Hyderabad Police Department has declared that there shall be a curfew in Hyderabad which has resulted from the recent riots that took place between the Hindus and the Muslims in parts of the city.
The riots had its initiation following a string of arguments involving a religious event and its decorations. Reportedly the riots took a vehement shape which left many injured and one dead as people indulged into street battles hitting and throwing stones at each other. The police reports says that five mosques and one temple were damaged in the riots. In the due course of the riot that led to the curfew in Hyderabad, over 100 people from both the communities have been taken into custody who were engaged in a street battle that took place near Charminar mosque. As the situations worsened, 1,800 paramilitary personnel forces were being deployed on ground to help the cops bring the situation under control
After the imposition of the Curfew in Hyderabad, police commissioner A.K. Khan added that if is anybody is caught creating trouble then tough actions would be taken. Reportedly, the town has been under several communal threats following the proposal of dividing Andhra Pradesh. Curfew in Hyderabad has been associated with strikeouts and roadblocks which has been upsetting for the town and its people at large. It has been stated that the curfew would be effective in the old parts of the city, where the riots and violence was witnessed while the new part of the city is likely to remain normal, according to reports. However, few people feel that the turmoil is likely to effect the business of major companies in the city.
