Woman killed in fiery Ky. crash buried by family

FRANKLIN, Ky. — About 550 people have attended a funeral at a Mennonite church in south-central Kentucky for a woman killed with 10 others in a fiery crash last week.

A cousin says several relatives of 22-year-old Ashlie Kramer helped bury her after the funeral Monday in Franklin. She was headed to a wedding in Iowa when she and the others were killed.

On Sunday night, several hundred people moved through the sanctuary of Franklin Mennonite Church to share words of encouragement or memories with the Kramer family near her casket.

State police say 11 people were killed Friday in a crash between a tractor-trailer and a church van on northbound Interstate 65 in south-central Kentucky. A funeral for nine other victims was planned for Tuesday near Burkesville.
