Buenos Aires, March 18 (IANS/EFE) The body of Lucas Rebolini, who had been reported missing by his parents, Argentine actors Antonio Grimau and Leonor Manso, was discovered at the Buenos Aires morgue, prosecutors said.

Rebolini’s body was found Tuesday, a day after his parents spoke of his disappearance in public.

Rebolini, 36, was arrested Feb 6 after a resident of the Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Palermo reported that the man - apparently in a state of agitation - was walking down the street naked and throwing himself on top of cars.

Police arrested him and took him to a hospital, where he suffered a pneumonia-induced heart attack that resulted in his death Feb 10.

Because he was not carrying identification, the body was classified as “unknown” and taken Feb 12 to the Buenos Aires morgue, where it remained until Tuesday pending collection by some family member, prosecutors said.

Grimau went to the morgue Tuesday to identify his son’s body and left the facility 25 minutes later without issuing a statement.

The actor said Monday that Lucas, whom he described as “conscientious, athletic and independent”, lived alone at an apartment in La Recoleta neighborhood.

He also said his son didn’t typically use the Internet or a cell phone and was “a perfectly normal guy”, although he told local television Tuesday before learning of his death that he may have been “momentarily depressed”.

In addition to reporting his son’s disappearance to police and the media, Grimau had sought information on his whereabouts via the the social-networking site Facebook.
