PATNA - A school principal here has been arrested for duping dozens of students hoping to take the Class 10 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination, police said Tuesday.

P.C. Khemka, principal of Gyan Ganga School at Patliputra colony, who was nabbed Monday, allegedly took money from guardians for getting their wards enrolled as Class 10 CBSE examinees.

“Last month, students and their parents were stunned when they were not given admit cards for the CBSE examinations despite having paid money,” a police official said.

The parents then lodged complaints with the police.
