Relatives of Americans missing in Haiti frustrated
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — Frustration is boiling into anger for some Americans who have loved ones still missing in Haiti.
Some say the U.S. government isn’t doing enough to find the missing Americans after last week’s catastrophic earthquake.
Leonard Gengel’s 19-year-old daughter is one of four Florida college students who disappeared in a hotel when the quake struck. Gengel is demanding the government do more to find her and he is not even considering the possibility that she may never be recovered.
Two of the Lynn University students’ teachers are also believed to be buried under the rubble.
The State Department says it’s doing all it can under a difficult situation.
