Palo Alto Plane Crash Kills Three

BLOOMBERG (GaeaTimes.com)- In a recent airplane crash three workers of Tesla Motors Inc died in California yesterday. The accident also took a toll on the power supply in the area with Facebook Inc and HP suffering from power outage. The company is known for making models of cars that run on batteries. As per the available news, the dual engine driven Cessna 310 plane crashed in East Palo Alto around 8 a.m. It crashed shortly after taking off from the Palo Alto Airport amidst dense fog. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla said in a statement that the relatives of the employees who lost their lives were informed.

He expressed his deep grief for the employees who died following the Palo Alto plane crash. The company has over 500 employees and it has plans to shift its headquarters to Palo Alto. The Plane hit an electric tower and caused sporadic power cuts in the region. As per the reports, nearly 28,000 customers got affected by power cuts. Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Stanford Hospital had to operate on emergency systems for some time.

The plane involved in the Palo Alto crash was supposed to reach Hawthorne Municipal Airport, Palo Alto Airport authorities said. The accident also caused damage to several cars and two houses were set ablaze. The Facebook and HP employees were told to work from different places following the power outage. However, Facebook users did not face issues in accessing the site. Air Unique Inc is the owner of the ill-fated Cessna aircraft.
