SYDNEY - A member of right-wing cult Ku Klux Klan has vandalised several Facebook tribute pages for dead Australian teenagers, a media report said Friday.

Jarred Hensley, 28, told a couple of Australians in an online chat that he and his group were responsible for defacing many pages, Australian news agency AAP reported.

Hensley, a resident of Ohio, said the most recent examples were the pages for 17-year-old Melbourne teenager Cameron Lowe, who was killed last week, and Chantelle Rowe, a 16-year-old Adelaide girl who was murdered with her parents.

“By the time social network sites act to remove his pictures and profiles, it is too late to erase the further misery he has caused with his racist, sexist and homophobic attacks,” the report said.

Hensley is a former “Grand Titan” of the Imperial Klans of America (IKA), one of the US’ largest Ku Klux Klan groups, the Herald Sun reported.
