BMW hits bikers in Noida, victims hospitalised

NOIDA - A rash BMW owner hit two motorcycle riders near sector-77 in Noida, injuring the duo. The victims are recovering in two hospitals, police said Saturday.

Hemant Atul, a resident of Narmada Apartments in Delhi’s Alaknanda working with a company engaged in export business, was driving his BMW car bearing registration number DL-10C 3707 rashly when he hit motorcycle-borne Manvir and Bharat Kumar near sector-77 late Friday.

Due to the impact, their motorcycle hit the divider and they fell in a ditch. The two worked with a company in Noida.

“Hemant has been arrested and his car confiscated. The victims have been admitted in Metro and Tripathi hospitals,” Superintendent of Police S.N. Singh said.
