Five bus passengers injured in Noida accident

NOIDA - Five people were critically injured when an Uttarakhand Roadways bus in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck loaded with iron rods in Noida Monday, police said. The truck driver has been arrested.

The accident took place on National Highway-24, police said.

As the bus rammed into the truck, the iron roads broke the windscreen and injured passengers in the bus.

Five passengers - Jitendra (23), Chanda (25), Abdul (35), Aman (23) and Deepa (30) - were injured, police said.

“A case has been registered against truck driver Pravin and he has been arrested, said inspector Hari Mohan of Sector 58 police station.
