Libyan plane crash kills 96, Dutch boy survives
AMSTERDAM — A Dutch Foreign Ministry spokesman says the lone survivor from the plane crash in Libya — a young Dutch boy — is undergoing surgery in Tripoli.
Spokesman Ad Meijer said the identity of the child was still being verified. He said the boy was being operated for injuries, including broken bones.
The Libyan plane crash Wednesday near Tripoli’s airport killed at least 96 people.
