MELBOURNE - A female sailor on an Australian ship who allegedly groped her male colleagues after a drinking binge is facing a probe.

The female sailor on the HMAS Success went on a binge in Singapore during a port visit this month. She became very drunk and began publicly groping her male colleagues, couriermail.com.au reported.

One of the men filed a complaint following which the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Investigation Service launched an investigation.

“We take any instances of inappropriate behaviour seriously,” a statement quoted Defence Force chief Angus Houston as saying.
