CHANDIGARH - A day after Income Tax sleuths visited the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) office here to collect records pertaining to the Indian Premier League (IPL), officials Saturday said no documents were seized.

“Our officials had checked various documents at the PCA stadium but we did not find anything objectionable or fishy. We are satisfied and have not seized any documents from there,” Pawan Parmar, director (survey) of the Income Tax department, told IANS.

A team from the investigation wing of the Income Tax department visited the PCA stadium and conducted the searches till past Friday midnight.

“We had put certain queries to PCA officials, which we do not want to share at this moment,” said an official.

PCA joint secretary G.S. Walia said: “We cooperated with them and made available every information and data that they demanded from us. This was the part of their countrywide exercise to collect information pertaining to IPL.”
