Man burnt alive as car catches fire

NEW DELHI - A businessman was burnt alive after his car caught fire on in Nangloi area of west Delhi Monday night, police said Tuesday.

The man, identified as Arun Makkar, 51, ran a shoe factory in East Punjabi Bagh.

“Makkar was driving his Honda City car in Mundka industrial area around 8 p.m. when the car went up in flames,” a police official said.

He said the car had a CNG kit and preliminary investigations revealed there was no foul play.
