UAE to step up war against human trafficking

ABU DHABI - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is determined to battle human trafficking.

Anwar Gargash, the minister of state for foreign affairs, said the labour ministry would set up a separate section to deal with the problem.

Gargash is also chairman of the UAE National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, which discussed various steps to combat the crime at its 20th meeting here, WAM news agency reported.
