Maoists blow up school in Bihar

PATNA - Suspected Maoist guerrillas blew up a government school in Bihar’s Rohtas district, police said Friday.

Armed Maoists used dynamite to blow up a government school building in Yadunathpur in Rohtas, 150 km from here Thursday, police officers said.

According to police, three rooms of the school were badly damaged in the incident.

Just three days ago Maoists had blasted another school building in Rohtas.

Superintendent of Police Vikas Vaibhav said they have launched a combing operation against the guerrillas.
