Call centre executive killed on BRT corridor

NEW DELHI - A 22-year-old call centre executive was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on the BRT corridor here Friday night, police said Saturday.

The accident took place at around 10.45 p.m. in Ambedkar Nagar in southeast Delhi.

“Satyendra Narayan, a native of Andhra Pradesh, was returning to his house in Madangir area when an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle from behind. The driver fled after the accident,” a police officer said.

Narayan was taken to All India Institute of Medical Sciences Trauma Centre where he was declared “brought dead”.

“He was working at a call centre in Gurgaon. A hunt is on to nab the driver and a case has been registered, the police officer added.

A 60-year-old property dealer died Friday afternoon after an Indian Army truck hit him on the BRT corridor.
