50 tribals held in Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR - Some 50 members of a tribal outfit were arrested Saturday in the Chhattisgarh capital before their planned protest at the chief minister’s residence, police said.

As many as 50 tribals of the Chhattisgarh Adivasi Sangh were picked up from Kalibari area minutes before they were to march towards the chief minister’s residence to stage an anti-government demonstration, officials said.
