IIT aspirant shot dead in Agra

AGRA - A 20-year-old youth enrolled with a coaching institute for IIT entrance examinations was shot dead early Friday when he was going to pay his fees.

The youth was shot dead near the GIC ground close to the old hostel.

Police suspect the student was murdered for the Rs.50,000 he had brought from his home two days ago to deposit as fees with the coaching centre.

The deceased was identified as B.K. Choudhary of village Dabli under Malpura thana.

Police recovered a country-made pistol, a bag and three cartridges from the bushes. The youth was shot in the chest from close range.
