6.2 earthquake hits Manila

MANILA - An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale hit the Philippine capital Thursday but there were no reports of casualties or damages.

The quake’s epicentre was in northern Philippines, Xinhua news agency reported. The US Geological Survey measured the earthquake at 6.1.
