Tax raids in Bhopal, Gwalior

BHOPAL - The Income Tax department Tuesday conducted raids at three places in Bhopal and Gwalior and seized documents, sources said.

Those establishments raided included a road construction company in Bhopal and a dam construction company in Gwalior.

IT authorities however refused to divulge more details saying the raids were still on. Sources however said tax evasion worth lakhs of rupees has been detected during the raids.
