Train derails in Uttar Pradesh

LUCKNOW - A passenger train derailed in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanshiram Nagar district Friday but no commuter was seriously injured, police said.
“The engine and two bogeys of the train derailed in Soron town. No passenger was seriously injured,” Police Inspector M.P. Singh Raghav told IANS.
The driver of the train has been injured while the co-driver managed to escape after the accident, he said over phone from Kanshiram Nagar district, about 300 km from here.
The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained, he added.
