BHUBANESWAR - Poachers have killed a young elephant for ivory in the forested area of Rajagadia in Orissa’s Angul district, a forest official said.

The elephant’s decomposed body was found Thursday evening.

According to forest officials, the tusks were sawn off and taken away.
