36 die in Pakistan avalanche

ISLAMABAD - At least 36 people were killed when an avalanche hit several houses in Pakistan’s northwest district of Kohistan, an official said Thursday.
The deaths took place Wednesday night in Saheri village, Kohistan police chief Muhammad Ilyas said. Twenty bodies have been recovered, APP reported.
