Cooking gas cylinder blast kills three in Orissa

BHUBANESWAR - Two women and a boy were killed and five injured after a cooking gas cylinder burst in a village in Orissa’s Ganjam district, police said Tuesday.

The cylinder burst accidentally at Rampa village, about 210 km from state capital Bhubaneswar Monday night, when a feast was underway.

The women who died were 19 and 65 years old, while the boy was two years old, police said.

Five others of the same family were undergoing treatment in hospital after sustaining injuries, police said.
