A 25-year-old driver was killed while three of his friends were injured after a four-wheeler they were travelling in hit the road divider in Chirag Dilli area around 3.30 a.m.

An iron rod installed in the road divider pierced the driver’s chest, killing him on the spot. The others sustained minor injuries.

In the second incident, a man came under the wheels of a Blueline bus after alighting from it at Ambedkar Nagar around 10 a.m. Victim Kishore, who hailed from Bihar, was going towards Sarojini Nagar.
