RANCHI - A small Maoist group Thursday gunned down two men and injured as many in Jharkhand’s Simdega district for sympathising with the dominant Maoist outfit, police said.

The People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) committed the murders in Soya village, 110 km from Ranchi. The victims were said to be sympathisers of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
