Jharkhand cop held for selling opium to prisoners

RANCHI - A police constable in Jharkhand was Thursday arrested for selling opium to prisoners in the Hazaribagh Central Jail, police said.
“We arrested Ram Chandra Singh for selling opium to prisoners of Jay Prakash Narayan Central Jail of Hazaribagh. He used to keep the opium in a tiffin box,” a police officer told IANS.
