KATHMANDU - Three days after a British tourist fell into a Nepal lake from his boat, police Thursday managed to find his body.

Graeme Budge, who had flown to Nepal with his friend William Duncan Monro from Scotland via New Delhi, was declared dead by doctors at the Gandaki regional hospital in Nepal’s tourist city Pokhara where he disappeared in the Fewa Lake Monday after a boating accident.

Budge and Munro had been returning to their hotel from a garden restaurant when their boat capsized Monday evening.

Though Munro was rescued from the waters, searchers failed to find Budge.

Nepal Police and Armed Police Force kept up the search till they found his body Thursday morning.

In a separate incident, a second British tourist, James Raphael, fell to his death in the capital earlier this week.

The 24-year-old from Stockport fell down from the fourth floor balcony of his hotel in Kathmandu after he was locked out inadvertently following a late night out and tried to climb in through a window.
