Car bomb damages businesses in Northern Ireland
BELFAST, Northern Ireland — A car bomb explosion has damaged businesses in Northern Ireland, but no injuries have been reported.
The attack early Tuesday in Londonderry has been blamed on dissident republicans opposed to the peace process.
Police say the bomb exploded an hour after a telephone warning. The explosion damaged a branch of the Ulster Bank and a nearby hotel and restaurant complex.
