LUCKNOW - Three railway employees repairing tracks were killed when they were run over by a train in Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha district Wednesday, police said.

The men were working near the Kailsa railway station in Amroha, some 250 km from here, and came under the Ajmer-bound Ala Hazrat Express coming from Bareilly.

“All the three employees died on the spot. No other worker was present at the site,” Government Railway Police Superintendent of Police R.B. Singh told reporters in Moradabad, some 200 km from Lucknow.
