Turkish ship crashes in Greek port

ATHENS - A Turkish ship with 213 people onboard crashed at a port in Greece, injuring 30 people of whom 20 were Britons, officials said.

The accident occurred Wednesday when the Aegean Cat vessel, which had set off for a cruise from the Turkish port of Didim, tried to tie up at the port in Kos island in eastern Greece, Xinhua reported.

witnesses said there was an engine problem with the ship.

The 20 injured British tourists were brought to the Turkish Aegean sea town of Bodrum, the Anatolia news agency reported.
