American Cargo Plane Crashes near Dubai’s Airport

DUBAI (GaeaTimes.com) — As per latest reports, an American Boeing 747-400 cargo plane has crashed in an air force base near Dubai’s airport. Officials have confirmed the death of two crew members on board. The plane was en route to Cologne, Germany.

Dubai airport officials were unavailable for any comment after the crash. But it seems that air traffic in that airport was not affected by the incident.

Al Arabiya television had reported earlier that the plane had hit a busy highway. But later on reports indicated that it did not hit the road at all. State-run Dubai TV had said that the crash appeared to have been caused by a technical fault. But official report on this is yet to be received.
