Sedgwick, Cranston win Emmy for lead actors in drama

LOS ANGELES - Kyra Sedgwick and Bryan Cranston have been named best lead actress and actor in drama series respectively at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.

Sedgwick and Cranston won the prestigious award for their lead roles in “The Closer” (2005) and “Breaking Bad” (2008) respectively.

Steve Shill has got the gong as the best director for helming “Dexter” (”The Getaway”) while Aaron Paul has received the best supporting actor trophy for his performance in the drama series “Breaking Bad”.

Emmy for outstanding writing for a drama series went to Matthew Weiner and Erin Levy for penning “Made Men”.
