BMW’s Jack Pitney Dies in an Accident while on vacation

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) – Jack Pitney, vice president of BMW’s marketing department, was killed earlier today in a tragic accident in his own farm.

Pitney, 47, used to live n Ridgewood with his wife, Quincy, and their five children. It is reported that he was working on his tractor at his farm in Dutchess County (NY) when the accident took place. But details regarding the accident are still unknown.

Pitney was a well known and respected figure in auto industry. A former manager of public relations for Mazda, Pitney moved from head of BMW public relations to launch the company’s successful Mini lineup of British-made small cars.
