Passenger plane with 96 on board crashes in China
BEIJING — A Henan Airlines plane with 96 people on board crashed Tuesday in northeast China’s Heilongjiang province and rescuers were rushing to the scene, state media reported.
The plane crashed in Yichun city at 10:10 p.m. local time (1410 GMT), the official Xinhua News Agency said in a brief report citing local government and airline officials. It did not say if there were any fatalities.
