Fire breaks out at Mumbai warehouse

MUMBAI - A major fire broke out at a warehouse in south Mumbai Tuesday evening, a police official said.

“Eight fire engines have been rushed to the spot that is very close to a cinema hall, a coaching institute and a sound studio in Dadar. We are waiting for more details,” said a police official of Bhoiwada police station, in whose jurisdiction the warehouse falls.

“We have no report of any casualty so far,” the official said, adding taht the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
