NEW YORK - Enterprising doll manufacturers have made plastic doll models of Russian spy Anna Chapman, including the one in which she is featured topless with a gun, and these have become one of the hot favourites in the US market.

Doll manufacturer Herobuilders.com has created two action figures of the flame-haired spy and is selling them online for $29.95, according to the New York Daily News.

“The Predator” spy girl figure features a muscular-looking woman in a white cropped vest and high-waisted jeans with a black revolver in her left hand. The other doll, dubbed “The Spy I Could Love”, is sporting a tartan skirt - and nothing else but a gun.

The Moscow beauty, who was sent back to her homeland after her spy ring was exposed in New York, became an internet sensation after topless photos taken by her ex-husband surfaced. Orders for the doll are already flowing in, with the semi-nude version the clear favorite.

Chapman joins the ranks of other public figures with their own action dolls including Barack Obama and Bernie Madoff and Sarah Palin, who is the company’s best-seller.

“I think she will probably be a long-term good seller,” said Herobuilders’ president, Emil Vitale.

He said he was compelled to create a Chapman action figure after seeing how her story captured the public’s imagination.

“She’s going to have to graduate from stripper to an X-rated movie star in order to beat Sarah Palin,” he said.
