MiG 27 crashes in West Bengal, two pilots dead

KOLKATA - A MiG 27 fighter aircraft crashed in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri district Saturday morning, killing the two pilots onboard, a defence official said.

The aircraft crashed in Moinaguri village in Jalpaiguri. Twelve villagers, including four children, were injured in the accident, Wing Commander Mahesh Upasani, the defence spokesperson (eastern headquarters), told IANS here.
