Raids on Chhattisgarh Police officer unearth Rs.30 mn

RAIPUR - Raids on a Chhattisgarh Police officer have unearthed assets worth Rs.30 million, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) said Wednesday.

“The ACB carried out raids on the properties of Assistant Sub-Inspector Law Kumar Mishra in Durg and Ranjnandgaon districts Tuesday. After analysing the details of the papers seized in the raid, we found that Mishra has assets worth over Rs.30 millions,” an ACB official told IANS.

The official added that Mishra owns a sprawling country villa spread over eight acres of land which is estimated to have a market value of Rs.10 million. Besides, he owns a bungalow at Rajnandgaon town, around 75 km from here, worth Rs.5 million.
