Six killed in Nepal bus accident

KATHMANDU - At least six people were killed and 24 injured when the bus in which they were travelling turned turtle in Nepal’s Bara district Friday.

The bus, heading to Bayalbas from Kathmandu, overturned at Dumarwana, in Bara district, Xinhua reported citing police officers.

Two of the deceased have been identified, while the identities of the other four were yet to be ascertained.

The condition of 10 passengers is critical, police said, adding that the ill-fated bus met with the accident due to overspeeding.
