Schools shut in flood-hit Haryana

CHANDIGARH - All schools in Haryana’s Ambala and Kurukshetra districts have been shut for two days following heavy rains and floods.

Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda told reporters here that the decision had been taken so that students do not face any difficulty. The schools are likely to reopen once the flood waters recede.
