Rs.60 lakh worth of watches stolen from Mumbai showroom

MUMBAI - Watches worth Rs.60 lakh were stolen from a showroom in Navi Mumbai by unidentified men, police said Tuesday.
“Miscreants broke into the Titan showroom at Vashi in Navi Mumbai Monday night and looted watches worth nearly Rs.60 lakh,” said a police officer.
“The matter came to light only this afternoon when an official complaint was lodged by the owners of the showroom,” the officer added.
“The exact time of the loot has not been ascertained yet, but it is reported to have happened after 10 p.m. last (Monday) night. We are investigating the matter,” he said.
