Chennai Weather Forecast: Cyclone Laila to Lash

CHENNAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — The coastal area of Chennai has been given a red alert of tropical cyclone Laila. According to India Meteorological Department, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh are likely to get heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms.
The cyclone Laila has intensified in the Bay of Bengal and will reach with the speed of 65-75 kmph. Fishermen are advised not to go for venture into deep sea.
Meanwhile, Monsoon lovers are eying at the path of cyclone Laila, which is expected to bring seasonal rainfall and quench the thirst of hot soil as well as ours.
