According to the police, the gang’s kingpin Arjun Lal was arrested in Punjab’s Patiala city, while the other two, Satish and Vishal, were arrested from Kurukshetra town in Haryana.

“This gang was involved in nearly 200 cases of thefts committed in various parts of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. We have recovered five stolen cars, three pistols, 40 rounds of bullets and many sharp-edged weapons from their possession,” Inspector General of Police (Ambala) K.K. Sindhu said.

Police also recovered many fake driving licenses and vehicle registration documents from their possession, he said, adding they hoped to make more recoveries and arrests after the trio’s interrogation.
